Condition of shirt - Excellent. Bright colours, light colour run to crest and Adidas logo, sponsor and upper reverse text are great for age - slight fade, the odd bobble - otherwise nice material feel.

Notes - Rare vintage design home shirt as worn in 1987, year of the Copa União title. Zico played for Flamengo from 1971 to 1983 and returned to Maracanã in 1985 after playing two years for Udinese in Italy. Recovered from long injuries, Zico led Flamengo to the Copa União title in 1987. Zico's last official appearance for Flamengo in a Brazilian National Championship match was against rivals Fluminense in December 1989. Zico is the player with the 2nd most appearances for the club and is still today with 508 goals the club's top scorer ever. He inspired the Brazilian singer Jorge Ben Jordens to write a song in his honour ‘Camisa 10 da Gávea’ helping create the mystique of the club's number 10.
